Good morning, Kruseman ! You have a very nice tank and fishes !! Good luck for you ! Claus
Really nice tank,
I think it´s more a asia and south america friendship .
Fantastic roots, plants and stones. But tell us something about the lighting and other technical details.
Greetings,
Frank
I think it´s more a asia and south america friendship .
With "Asian" you are referring to the plants, Frank? These are Ceratopteris thalictroides: A cosmopolite.
Hehe,
no, perhaps there is something in my eyes, at the first moment it looks like a armada of Crossocheilus at work .
Oh, it´s really Parodon affinis (Apareiodon affinis), sorry, really great.
And they can be helpful in a tank like this.
But tell about your lamps and the other equipment.
Greetings,
Frank
That's Parodon affinis allright.
I got them from mr. Oliver Frank in Butzbach.
The tank is decorated with rocks, bogwood from the peats of Northern-Germany and sand.
The walls are made of floormate, epoxy and different colours of sand.
The lighting
Hey,
it looks really fine, especially the wooden floor cupboard. And you work with the power of T5 fluorescent lamps.
What did you made with the bogwood, using it for filter addition too, or with epoxy to decorate the walls?
And I understand it right, you took a floormate, and created with epoxy and sand.
Greetings,
Frank
